Major overseas markets have posted mostly lower results for Thursday. London's FTSE was down 2.45%, Frankfurt's DAX closed down 3.81%, and Paris' CAC finished down 3.13%. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.64%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng closed down 1.09%, and Sydney's All Ordinaries Index finished up 0.07%.
